Roadside Wonders
Enjoy a short drive through the Yellowstone Hoodoos. These massive boulders and columns of rock are pieces of Terrace Mountain that have fallen off over the years from hundreds of feet above. A less than a 1/4 mile one-way drive will take you up close to these towering spectacles. Look out for small mammals that make their homes in the cracks and small caverns between the rocks. |
