Vistor Centers & Museums
The Norris Geyser Basin Museum is a small building at the beginning of the Norris Geyser Basin boardwalk with an information station inside and a knowledgable staff of park rangers that can give you general information about the park and answer any questions that you may have. Stop into the small museum and learn about some of the major thermal features in the Norris Geyser Basin before starting the boardwalk. Several displays offer a good understanding of how these amazing natural wonders work underground. Interperative ranger talks are also given on the geyser basin boardwalk during the summer months. Just across from the museum is a Yellowstone Association Bookstore with a variety of cool Yellowstone-themed books and souvenirs.
