Activities
The Ranger Museum takes you through the history of the National Park Ranger, from the inception of the National Park Service to the present. Learn about the lifestyle, job duties, hardships, and victories of the men and women who took on the task of protecting America's great places. Not only is the information inside the building historical, but the building itself holds its place in history as well. Constructed in 1908, the, now, Ranger Museum once functioned as a patrol cabin for park rangers. They would use it as a "home base" for when they traveled into Yellowstone, protecting the park from poachers and vandals. |
