Waterfalls
Take the Firehole Canyon Drive located just south of Madison Junction to get back to the falls. Pull outs and parking are available across from the falls. There is also more parking available further up the road at the swimming area. The Firehole River plunges 40 feet over the Firehole Falls just before it meets up with the Gibbon River at Madison Junction. The falls are surrounded by steep rhyolitic rock cliffs that make up the Firehole Canyon, and keep the falls hidden from the main road. |
