Campgrounds in this region
Lewis Lake Campground is the southern most campground in the park making it the closest campground to the South Entrance and Grand Teton National Park. The campground is located right next to Lewis Lake and just up the road from Lewis Falls. Tall trees provide good shade over the campsites in this quiet section of Yellowstone. No two campsites look just alike but all have firerings and picnic tables for your convenience. Most of the campsites have room for parking right next to the site and some can accomodate vehicles up to 25 feet long. Some campsites are designated as walk-in sites, and are for tents only.
In addition to the campsites, the Lewis Lake boat launch is also here and a Ranger Station at the campground entrance is available for you to obtain your fishing and boating permits.
