Vistor Centers & Museums
Each visitor center in the park has a different educational theme to teach visitors about Yellowstone's ecological diversity. The Grant Visitor Center's theme is wildfires. Learn about the role that fires play in the Yellowstone ecosystem and how it helps rejuvinate the forests. You can also learn about the massive fires of 1988 that burned over a third of the park.
Rangers at the visitor center are there to help answer questions about the park. A Yellowstone Association Bookstore is located inside the visitor center with a wide selection of Yellowstone-themed books and other items. Also, inquire about the ranger talks that take place nightly at the amphitheatre near the campground.
