Where To Eat
The Nez Perce Ford Picnic Area is one of the largest picnic areas in Yellowstone. With 19 tables, this area has a variety of picnicking options, from shade trees to riverside tables to areas with tables out in the open. The Yellowstone River flows past the picnic area as it works its way towards Hayden Valley just a little ways down the road north of the picnic area. Fishing is not allowed on this section of the Yellowstone River. The size of the Nez Perce Ford Picnic Area and the 19 tables makes this an ideal place for large group picnic excursions. The wide parking lot in the heart of the picnic area is big enough for RVs to park and turn around easily, another reason visitors love the Nez Perce Ford Picnic Area.
