Where To Eat
This picnic area sets among tall shade trees along the Yellowstone River between the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and the infamous Hayden Valley. A large roadside pullout allows plenty of parking for those who want to stop here to enjoy the day or just a couple of hours. Along with picnicking, fishing is another fun activity that visitors partake in while enjoying the ambiance of the Otter Creek Picnic Area. Beaver are occasionally seen just down river from the picnic area at the point where Otter Creek pours into the Yellowstone River. Bison are also often seen providing company to visitors around this picnic spot and in the lushy meadows across the road.
